As I was at VONS at the pet’s section there was Open Nature Dog Food at the fridge section. There was chicken and beef available which came in a box with 8 inside. This makes it super convenient and super fresh when serving. Sure, there are many dog foods that comes in a big plastic bag. But they are not convenient, and they are less fresh than if they were individually packaged. Sometimes, I just don’t understand why there are big packages of refrigerated types of foods. It’s just super clear that they stay fresher when they are individually packaged. This said, I think all dog and cat foods should be packaged individually rather than as a whole.

Open Nature Chicken Recipe 

I decided to go with the Chicken Recipe as my dog Mimi just loves it so much. She loves beef too, but she is more used to eating chicken rather than beef. I try to keep it in moderation of both, so she gets both as she likes both a lot.

I like how open nature is free from artificial flavors, colors, wheat, corn and soy. It keeps my mind happy that it is made with healthier ingredients. When you look at the food, you can see the carrots in there along with other of the ingredients.

Price

The price was $17.99 which sure is a bit expensive, but the freshness pays off for it along with the healthier ingredients. On top of that I like how it says, “Only the finest for your loved one!” This makes me feel more special that open nature knows we love our pets. Therefore, they provide better food as if they are loving them too. Very nice from open nature and great food which Mimi liked. In the video, Mimi is almost 18 years old.
